Toolbox Talk – Waste Management
Waste management is the toolbox talk topic for this week. Commercial waste is simply the waste and trash generated by a business or company. The owner of the premises on which commercial business or industrial waste is generated or stored, must ensure that until such time as such waste is collected by an accredited service provider from the premises. The waste is stored in a bulk container or other approved waste vessel. The container may not be kept in a public space except when required for collection. Measurements must be taken to prevent accidental spillage, leaking or waste being blown away. Oder, visual impacts and breeding of vectors do not arise. Pollution of the environment and harm to health are prevented.
