We conduct documentation audits on all principal contractors and sub-contractors appointed on any project. We further manage the process with the tenants and their contractors in order to confirm that tenants fulfil their legal responsibilities.

We apply our discipline with the practical understanding of what is required in industry, as well as the theoretical knowledge that is attached to that practice.

Health and Safety Specifications / Baseline Risk Assessments / Plans
Since 27 February 2004, Cairnmead Industrial Consultants (Pty) Ltd has issued over 5,090. Health and Safety Specifications / Plans. From 2014, these Health and Safety Specifications have been issued with a Baseline Risk Assessment per the construction Regulations’ legal requirements of February 2014.

Incident Investigations
Mr C.P.J Lourens was appointed as the Investigator after the Kolonnade Shopping Centre Roof Collapse Incident. He completed the Investigation as his last task as a Senior Inspector for the Department of Labour. Since 2004, Cairnmead Industrial Consultants have been appointed as Incident Investigators for various major and fatal Incidents.
